Effective Date: September 17, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how AvachaTech, LLC (“AvachaTech,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information in connection with Shanghai, a local single-player card game for iPhone.
Information Shanghai Stores
Shanghai stores the following information locally on your device so the game can work:
- setup preferences and the human player name;
- four-hand and seven-hand leaderboard statistics;
- the active game and session state used for automatic save and exact resume;
- AI decision and explanation history associated with the active game; and
- locally generated optional table talk.
This information remains on the device. Shanghai does not require hidden game-state information to be exposed outside the device.
Information Shanghai Does Not Collect
Shanghai does not require an account and does not provide internet multiplayer, chat, tournaments, or in-app purchases. The current release does not collect, transmit, sell, share, or remotely store player names, gameplay state, leaderboard statistics, AI history, or table talk.
Support Communications and App Store Services
If you contact AvachaTech for support, we receive the information you choose to provide, such as your email address, device details, and problem description. Apple may separately process download, diagnostic, and App Store information under Apple’s own policies.
Your Choices and Data Deletion
You can change locally stored preferences in the app. Restart controls replace the relevant hand or game state, and deleting Shanghai removes its locally stored information, subject to device backups and Apple’s platform behavior.
Security and Children’s Privacy
Shanghai minimizes privacy risk by keeping gameplay data on the device and avoiding accounts, advertising, tracking, and online gameplay services. No device environment can be guaranteed completely secure. Shanghai is intended for a general audience and does not knowingly collect personal information from children through gameplay.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy as Shanghai, legal requirements, or platform requirements change. We will revise the effective date when we do.
