Oddball Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how AvachaTech, LLC (“AvachaTech,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information in connection with Oddball, a local party game for social deduction and hidden-information gameplay, played in person on a shared device.

Oddball is designed to be simple and privacy-friendly. The app does not require an account, does not use AvachaTech servers, does not include advertising, and does not transmit player names or gameplay data to AvachaTech.

Information We Collect

• As currently designed, Oddball does not collect personal information from users.
• Oddball does not require you to create an account, provide your name, provide an email address, log in, connect to a server, or submit information to AvachaTech.

Local App Information

Oddball may store certain information locally on your device so the app can function properly. This may include:

• Player names or nicknames entered by users;
• Player avatar selections;
• App settings or preferences;
• Game configuration choices; and
• Whether you have acknowledged the Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.
• This information is stored locally on the device. It is not transmitted to AvachaTech.

You should avoid entering sensitive personal information as a player name or nickname.

Gameplay Data

• Oddball is intended for local, in-person gameplay. The app does not transmit gameplay data, player lists, game history, answers, prompts, or results to AvachaTech.
• Oddball does not currently provide online multiplayer, cloud sync, user accounts, public profiles, leaderboards, or social sharing features.

Analytics, Tracking, and Advertising

• Oddball does not currently use third-party analytics, advertising networks, tracking technologies, or third-party advertising identifiers.
• Oddball does not currently include ads, subscriptions, or in-app purchases.
• If we add analytics, advertising, tracking, online services, subscriptions, or in-app purchases in the future, we will update this Privacy Policy as appropriate.

Apple and App Store Information

• Oddball is distributed through the Apple App Store. Apple may process certain information related to your App Store account, device, purchase, download, crash reports, diagnostics, or use of Apple services according to Apple’s own terms and privacy policies.
• AvachaTech does not control Apple’s collection or processing of information through the App Store, iOS, TestFlight, or other Apple services.
• Depending on your device settings, Apple may provide developers with crash reports, diagnostics, or aggregated app usage information. We use any such information only to understand app performance, troubleshoot issues, and improve Oddball.

Children’s Privacy

• Oddball is intended for a general audience and is family-friendly, but it is not specifically directed to children under 13.
• Oddball does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Because Oddball does not require accounts and does not transmit player names or gameplay data to AvachaTech, we do not knowingly receive personal information from children through the app.
• Parents and guardians are responsible for supervising children’s use of Oddball and determining whether the app is appropriate for their household or group.

Third-Party Services

• Oddball does not currently use AvachaTech-operated servers, online databases, third-party advertising services, third-party tracking services, or third-party analytics services.
• Oddball may include platform-provided or third-party materials, such as standard Apple emoji characters used as avatars or lightweight sound library elements. These materials do not require users to submit personal information to AvachaTech.

AI-Generated Content

• Some Oddball prompts and app assets may have been generated or assisted by artificial intelligence tools and then selected, edited, or incorporated by AvachaTech.
• Oddball does not send player names, gameplay activity, or user-entered information to AI services.

Data Sharing

• Because Oddball does not collect personal information through the app, AvachaTech does not sell, rent, or share personal information collected through Oddball.
• We do not sell personal information and we do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Data Retention

• Information stored locally on your device remains on your device unless you delete it, reset app data, or uninstall the app.
• AvachaTech does not maintain a server-side copy of your player names, avatar selections, gameplay data, or app settings.

Your Choices

• You can manage local Oddball information by editing player names, changing settings, deleting local player information if the app provides that option, or uninstalling the app from your device.
• You can also manage Apple-level privacy, diagnostics, and analytics settings through your device settings.

Security

• Oddball is designed to minimize privacy risk by avoiding user accounts, AvachaTech servers, advertising, tracking, and online transmission of player or gameplay data.
• No app or device environment can be guaranteed to be completely secure. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your device and for choosing what names or nicknames to enter into the app.

International Users

• Oddball is provided by AvachaTech, LLC, a company based in the United States. If you use Oddball outside the United States, you understand that your use of the app and any communications with us may involve the United States.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

• We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we may provide notice in the app, on our website, or through another reasonable method.
• The updated Privacy Policy will be effective when posted or otherwise made available, unless it states a later effective date.
